Installation

  1. Install the Hugeicons WordPress Plugin:
# Option 1: From WordPress Plugin Directory
1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New
2. Search for "Hugeicons"
3. Click "Install Now" and then "Activate"
 
# Option 2: Manual Installation
1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/hugeicons` directory
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins
3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' screen
4. Use the Settings->Hugeicons screen to configure the plugin

The plugin connects to Hugeicons' servers for the following purpose:

Icons API Service

  • Endpoint: https://hugeicons.com/api
  • Purpose: Fetches icon metadata and updates
  • When: Only during icon picker usage in the WordPress editor
  • Data: Only technical requests for icon data; no personal information is transmitted
